Kulu Valley has launched a new communications tool called a ‘Kulu’ to help businesses communicate more effectively. A Kulu is said to combine professional-quality video messages with graphs, presentations, web links and other documents to provide an exciting new way to communicate with internal and external audiences. With the web-based Kulu platform it’s said to be very quick and easy to create and distribute a Kulu from a desktop PC “There are so many ways of communicating today that people feel bombarded with information from all angles,” said Sumit Rai, CEO and founder of Kulu Valley. “We’ve launched the Kulu because it enables people to cut through the noise and get their message heard, understood and acted on. By combining video with slides, graphics and more, a Kulu is an engaging visual message which communicates ideas and information in a powerful new way.”

Companies like BT, Citywire, Henderson Global Investors and leading banks are already communicating information and ideas with the Kulu platform. “Our solution is already deployed at large corporate and financial institutions because they were the first to recognise the benefits in communicating vital market information quickly, succinctly and with maximum impact,” continued Rai. “But with the mass use of video in the consumer world and the developments in IT infrastructure the rest of the business world can now take advantage, which is why we’ve launched Kulus to the rest of the market.”

BT is using the Kulu platform to communicate with its global banking and financial markets salesforce and customers around the world. “The challenges that I face in communicating with the sales force are that firstly, they’re global, and second I expect them to be in front of the customer not in my office waiting to hear from me,” said Mark D. Weeks, head of retail and wholesale banking at BT Global Services. “Using Kulu Valley to communicate with my salesforce has had an immediate impact. It is a new and different way to get my message across and as a result I know it’s heard, digested and acted upon.”
